Georgia has been awarded $255,200 a 2008 Aquaculture Grant Program and another award for an arts grant. The 2008 Aquaculture Grant Program (2008 AGP) provides assistance to eligible aquaculture producers that suffered financial losses associated with high feed input costs during the 2008 calendar year. An arts grant will be administered by the Georgia Council for the Arts to cultivate healthy, vibrant communities that are rich in civic participation, cultural development and economic prosperity.
